Chipola River

It would not do justice to the beauty of the place I was at today to not post a shot of it, too. Here you go!

Braves and Boots

I'm way overdue for a blog post. I had a bit of spare time during the day today, so I decided to stop at the Chipola River near Clarksville, FL for some fishing and photography...two of my favorite things. As I was walking on the bank, I noticed a few 12 ga. shotgun shells laying around. My attention turned from shooting the cypress stumps and crystal clear river to doing some still life. What turned out was a lot of cypress sap on my clothes (which I had to wash out with rubbing alcohol in my hotel room), and one of my favorite shots I've ever done. 1/320 sec @ f/5.6; ISO 160. No photoshop editing other than AMP mark.
